Important hypothesis for pursuing planetary defense

This essay is going to look a little weird, but I personally believe there are some noteworthy considerations that I find quite original. I have never read such considerations anywhere. I tend to have a lot of original ideas and I think some ideas should be given freely for the good of humanity.
As I am writing this essay, June 2026, last few months the United States government has already released declassified files for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).
My personal honest opinions about UAP flying objects is that such objects could very well be drones that have their propelling body parts enclosed and camouflaged in some way. There are some examples that are called Dronuts.
Nonetheless, there are many witnesses that suggest that aliens might be among us and that their technology is extremely far more advanced than any of us can really understand. If that is the case, then my honest opinion is that one of the most important actions interested communities and institutions such as the Planetary Defense Coordination Office of NASA should take is making a thoughtful process of hypothesis creation. God works in mysterious ways is an expression of Spinoza, but a more literal translation of such expression from the Latin language is the ways of the Lord are limitless. Anytime we have to do with issues that relate to the concept of infinity, unknown and unpredictability we should remind that the most infinite, unpredictable and somehow not fully understood asset that human beings have is imagination, it should be considered our main asset of counteraction. Instead of simply considering the most banal and obvious dangers that anyone might consider, we should strive to make hypothesis that go further and deeper than simply "UAP objects bombing or damaging the planet with some unknown weapon".
I realize that hypothesis building is a very tedious and somehow a limitless effort and no one can really completely predict the future and somehow protect us by a limitless of potentials and possibilities. I personally wondered about the eventuality of every possible simulation of a war between humans and aliens ending with our absolute certain defeat and therefore needing to reason in terms of "what might make human beings and the live-hoods and various ecosystems on planet Earth necessary and useful to a very advanced alien civilization, therefore eliminating the incentive for them to wipe us out?".
I have an interesting answer to such question. My own interesting, original and kind of not very straightforward but intuitive idea is that the main answer should be one word, one specific quality of planet Earth and all its living beings, the quality of...
...diversity.
Yes, diversity! Advanced aliens might reason strategically and decide to not wipe out humanity and every living form in the planet because of the need to benefit by its diversity, either current diversity and potential diversity. In order to get to such conclusion, I made the hypothesis that advanced alien technology has already achieved multiple techniques of replication of living beings and products.
It is more intuitive to suggest the term biodiversity instead of the broader term diversity. But further hypothesis, and hopefully a very optimistic hypothesis, might suggest that even geodiversity and diversity of products and materials might be useful to an alien advanced civilization. Aliens might need different kind of materials, products, plants and animals in order to build their own products exactly as we human beings do. It is likely that an advanced alien civilization might have the quality that distinguishes very intelligent life forms from less intelligent life forms: the ability to benefit from the surrounding territory, to use elements, resources, plants, animals for their own benefit. Humans tend to experiment and find ways how a material/plant/animal can benefit their health and quality of life by building a continuous range of products. Why shouldn't we suppose that an advanced alien species that has built objects allowing them to travel far away in space has the same identical attitude and tendency towards their surrounding universe?
Aliens might require samples of every plant that is existent on Earth in order to analyze them for the purpose of finding out their usefulness. Then they might request samples of every possible animal and their categories of species and subspecies. They might be interested in humans and in different type of humans, in every possible sense. They might then be interested in elements, materials, and mostly, the products that human beings are capable of creating through the combination of elements and various natural resources. They might be interested in humanity and in its civilization because of its ability to innovate, to build and to constantly create new products. They might also be interested in different cultures and organizational systems.
This kind of hypothesis has a lot of important implications. The first implication is that diversity should be the most powerful bargaining tool between an advanced alien civilization and humanity. Therefore, protecting biodiversity, diversity of products and the assets that stimulate such diversities such as a mentality that drives people towards the protection of the environment, and the promotion of innovative and creative potential should be a top priority for the survival of the planet and mankind.
I personally have a method of uncovering possible hidden secrets by 1. making a hypothesis, 2. supposing what would happen in reality if such hypothesis was true and then 3. checking the surrounding reality: does the actual reality resemble the supposed reality in case such hypothesis was true? 4. If the answer is no, then it is more likely the hypothesis is false. If the answer is yes, then it could be that the hypothesis is true. For example, let's suppose that there really is an advanced alien civilization that somehow has infiltrated humanity and it needs our planet and humanity as a lab territory for testing new elements, plants, products and maybe even organizational systems or cultures. If such hypothesis was true, then planet Earth would really resemble a lab and it would have a lot of diversity, people who promote the protection of the environment and scientific research and innovation would be more protected and privileged than the average human beings. Personally, I think the first statement is true, there is a lot of diversity, diversity potential and compounding diversity in this planet. The second statement unfortunately is not true: many people who pollute the environment gain wealth and power and also people who attempt to damage the current diversity by attacking and punishing people who are different from the average gain political power and wealth. If such kind of hypothetic advanced alien civilization has infiltrated the planet, then it definitely hasn't infiltrated the human mind enough as to further their own agenda. But personally, just for a matter of personal security, I would avoid taking actions that damage any current or potential diversity in this planet during my lifetime!
